This project supports the theatrical and non-theatrical distribution of the movie, Little Red Wagon, which was created through grant #12985 to Filmanthropy Media under the leadership of Michael Guillen. Directed by David Anspaugh and written by Patrick Sheane Duncan, Little Red Wagon focuses on the powerful story of then 6-year old Zach Bonner, who began his own Foundation to help homeless children in the wake of recovering from Hurricane Charley in Tampa, FL in 2004. The film will be theatrically distributed to a minimum of 10 U.S. markets through Phase 4 Films, who will also oversee with FMI the non-theatrical distribution of the film in North America on DVD, television, and in venues such as schools, community organizations, and churches. The project will additionally include efforts to secure theatrical and non-theatrical distribution of Little Red Wagon in foreign countries.
