The National Constitution Center proposes to conduct a crowdfunding campaign to support its We the People podcast with Jeffrey Rosen. We the People, which launched in 2013, has proven to be a great way to reach new audiences and introduce listeners to our critical work. The podcasts have led many listeners to get more involved with the National Constitution Center and many are among our most enthusiastic supporters.
A generous 1:1 matching grant of $234,000 from the John Templeton Foundation will allow the Center to first launch a robust marketing campaign intended to increase the podcast audience, and then launch a widely publicized matching crowdfunding campaign designed to engage and motivate this larger audience to support the We the People podcasts and deepen their relationship with the National Constitution Center now and for years to come.
