This project, led by a team at Universidad Pontificia Comillas (Spain) in collaboration with Sal Terrae, a publishing house of the larger Loyola Communication Group, will translate into Spanish 14 key volumes within the intersection of science, philosophy and theology. With these new Spanish volumes, the project will offer to the Spanish-speaking world (which include over 400M native speakers) access to a much needed high-quality literature on science, philosophy and theology, distributed at an accessible price, especially in Latin America. This project, thus, aligns with the strategy that the John Templeton Foundation is following to promote research on this academic field in Latin America.
Authors of selected volumes include John Marks Templeton, Alister McGrath, John H. Brooke, Peter Harrison, Ron Numbers, Ian Stewart, Roger Trigg, Hugh McCann, Philip Clayton, Arthur Peacocke, Mark Harris, Kelly Clark, Alvin Plantinga, Rodney Stark and John F. Haught.
We expect these new volumes, together with the already published collection on science and religion at Sal Terrae, will become the must-have collection for any library hoping to offer literature on science, philosophy and theology in the Spanish-speaking world.
