The John Templeton Foundation has supported the Thomistic Institute over the past five years to host lectures on university campuses that directly engage students and faculty on select themes. The most recent grant funded 31 such lecture events. We aim to build on these past successes in a three-fold way:
(1) by significantly increasing the number of campus events each year to 130;
(2) by equipping Thomistic Institute faculty speakers to more effectively engage college students through collaborative and interdisciplinary engagement with their peers; and
(3) promoting interdisciplinary research.
Accomplishing this will require some expanded staff capacity at the Thomistic Institute, and some further development of our podcast and YouTube distribution of the content generated by these events.
