We propose to continue the BioLogos podcast “Language of God” which debuted in 2019. The podcast has been highly successful, far surpassing the number of downloads predicted and reaching a growing audience that is hungry for longform audio discussions that take seriously both Christian faith and current scientific findings. We will produce at least 72 new episodes of similar format and content to what we have done so far, addressing Big Questions at the intersection of science and Christian faith, such as What does it mean to be human? How does the Bible relate to scientific knowledge? and How can Christians most effectively be persuaded of legitimate scientific findings? We expect there to be more than 1 million new downloads of Language of God during the project time period.
Additionally, we will host at least six live podcast recordings during the project time period. These will feature conversations with guests in front of a live audience, offering opportunities for direct and in-person engagement with our audience in different regions of the country.
Language of God has quickly become one of BioLogos’ premiere programs. This project will allow it to continue growing and advancing the mission of BioLogos to show the harmony between science and Christian faith.
