The initiative will create an institutional framework for interdisciplinary collaboration and problem-solving, broad public education through media, a new model of public engagement, and community of practice which brings together leaders from three metaphorical 'cities'—Athens, Jerusalem, and Silicon Valley (the academy, religious leaders, and technology leaders)—to model engaging dialogue and solutions to the world's most pressing problems.

The questions this project will answer:
1) What happens when robust dialogue is modeled and practiced at the intersection of Athens, Jerusalem, and Silicon Valley?
2) How are new partnerships formed when 'unlikely' collaborators come together in a spirit of inquiry?
3) In what ways can and should "Jerusalem" inform important development and policy decisions?

The project is needed because serious issues, such as the way we approach generative AI, are not being addressed in an interdisciplinary way, but in a siloed way—there is not currently representation from stakeholders that represent different traditions.

This project will consist of a broad media collaborative educating the public on why interdisciplinary approaches are needed to solve problems, hundreds of hours of videos of educational content, 100+ articles published along with edited book volumes, three annual gatherings bringing together over 1,000 leaders, and corporate trainings and workshops that reach hundreds of executives. By the end of the project, we will have formed an ecosystem capable of finding, funding, and supporting people building things that contribute to human flourishing. We view this project as the creation of a new public metropolis that includes the best of Athens, Jerusalem, and Silicon Valley in one collaborative space.

The impact of this project will be an international movement of leaders who reject the fragmentation of ideas and who seek comprehensive human solutions that draw on the collective wisdom of each of these three traditions.
