The Fine-tuning Argument (FTA) moves from the "just right for life" nature of the cosmic parameters to the existence of God or of a multiverse. The aim of this project is to create an annotated and regularly updated online bibliography of the central philosophical literature on the FTA. No comparable resource is available anywhere. Through it, scholars worldwide will have a free and convenient way to pursue research on the theme "Fundamental Structures and the Laws of Nature" under the "Science and the Big Questions" funding area. Specific topical areas include the physics of cosmic fine-tuning, the logical nature of the FTA, the anthropic principle, the multiverse hypothesis, and the theological presuppositions of the FTA. The project leader (PI) will provide a vade mecum for each topical area. Each entry in the bibliography will be accompanied by both an article abstract/book blurb and a critical notice written by the project leader. The entries in the bibliography will be selected and screened by an advisory board of experts in the field. The PI will provide all of the written commentary, while a consultant will fully develop the website and provide links to all the content. The project, in short, is to create the go-to website for philosophers, theologians, and physicists initiating or continuing research on the FTA.
