The John Templeton Foundation’s podcast, Templeton Ideas, has been honored with a Gold Davey Award in the category of Educational Podcast Series. The 20th Annual Davey Awards, announced on October 22, 2024, recognize outstanding creative work in the communications industry.
Launched in March 2023, the Templeton Ideas podcast is a biweekly interview show about the most awe-inspiring ideas in our world, and the people who investigate them.
Hosted by Thomas Burnett, the Foundation’s Assistant Director of Communications, and produced by Samantha Cocove, the Digital Communications Associate, the podcast has amassed over 180,000 downloads.
With 44 episodes released to date, the podcast has featured a diverse range of influential guests, including David Brooks, Gretchen Rubin, Jim Al-Khalili, and Tyler Cowen.
