The Free Markets Series' was a 14-episode television series for the American and Canadian audiences produced by 'The World Show', a syndicated program throughout North America, in partnership with the Montreal Economic Institute. It aired on the network of PBS affiliates during the 2011-12 and 2012-13 seasons. Each 30 minutes episode features some of the most dynamic and influential Canadian and American free-market thinkers. Interviewed guests include Steve Forbes, John Allison, and Michael Fairbanks. The interviewer, Bob Scully, was named the 2012 Person of the Year by American Public Television. In March 2013, the 'Free Markets Series' website was launched, presenting all interviews of this project with PBS. This website offers not only the entire series to watch, but it is also possible to comment on each of the episodes and share the content through social media.
