Submitting an Online Funding Inquiry
In April 2007, the Foundation instituted a Two-Stage proposal submission process.
- Stage One: The Foundation has developed an Online Funding Inquiry that enables you to briefly describe your proposed project. Similar to a Letter of Inquiry/Concept Paper, this quick and intuitive online form is required as the first step in requesting funding.
- Stage Two: If the Foundation determines that your proposed project may be aligned with the Foundation's Mission, Core Themes, and Funding Areas, an invitation to submit a Full Proposal will be sent via email. This email will include the Foundation's Full Proposal form.
Submitting an Online Funding Inquiry is the required first stage of requesting funding from the Foundation. If you are interested in receiving funding, or if you are seeking assistance to determine if the Foundation would consider funding your project, please complete and submit an Online Funding Inquiry Form. Similar to a Letter of Intent (but completed electronically), our Online Funding Inquiry is a brief form in which the Foundation asks for basic information about your proposed project.
If the Program Staff determines that the proposed project is aligned with the Foundation's mission and purposes, an invitation to submit a Full Proposal will be sent to the applicant. If the Program Staff determines that the proposed project is not aligned, the Funding Inquiry is declined and a letter is sent to the applicant.
It is the Foundation's intention to respond to a Online Funding Inquiry within 30 days.
