Andrea Blane is the John Templeton Foundation's Controller. For more than twelve years, Mrs. Blane has enjoyed significant career growth within the Accounting and Finance Department, serving as the Foundation's Staff Accountant, Senior Accountant, and most recently as Director of Accounting.

Mrs. Blane is responsible for the oversight of the general ledger, management of Accounts Payable, and the preparation of critical financial statements for JTF and its subsidiaries. She serves as the Foundation's Contract Administrator, and works with various department heads in the creation of compliance policies related to the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) and tax verification analysis. Additionally, she performs analysis related to creating improved projections for the Foundation's grant payments. Significant in volume, the Foundation's grant commitments are currently $70 million. Mrs. Blane also manages fiscal oversight for Unity I, LLC, a subsidiary of the John Templeton Foundation. She works in conjunction with the Chief Financial Officer to facilitate the implementation of the financial operational goals of the Foundation. Most recently, Mrs. Blane co-presented at the 2008 Grant Managers Network Conference.

Prior to joining the Foundation, Mrs. Blane served as the Senior Finance Specialist at Main Line Federal Savings Bank (now Sovereign Bank) in Villanova, PA.

Mrs. Blane received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a minor in Spanish from Widener University and holds a Certificate of Accounting. She is married and an active member of the Valley Forge Mother of Twins and Triplets Club where she serves on the fundraising committee. Outside of work, Mrs. Blane enjoys keeping busy with her family.
